Workshop diary – Day 1

(Excerpts) IN THE CORRIDOR smiling faces, some well-known, some of strangers, quiet concentration. Faces line up. Hands handling phones. Anticipation rising. Stomach churning, but eye contact, yes, eye contact, easily found. Lean on it. Lean on what is light. Right: warm hand on veiled shoulder, sweaty shoulder, frail or strong shoulder. (…) What consideration! What support – for all doubt, For meager voices, For me For life in this Cube…

Sensuous workshops – diary posts

This week, I will be conducting workshops as a continuation of the boarding school experiences. This time, the frame is the school that I work on. Over the next three days, five workshops will take place taking their starting point from classes held at SAM. I have been preparing books in one-colour wrapping and copying texts for my students to experience and perform. The plan is in short to open…

Consider time…

When my partner and I signed up for Sisters Academy Boarding School, we had absolutely no idea of what to expect. We jumped into it because it at some level appealed to us, but we could not explain to anyone – let alone ourselves – why. It turned out to be a life changing experience, twenty-four hours of love, discovery, excitement, mystery, learning, exploring, challenges, sadness, happiness, and more love….

The Here And Now – a note of gratitude

With The Untamed I learned patience in awareness and how to bring another into that very space of awareness. With The Gardener I learned to measure one’s words by one’s actions in subtle yet heart-warming hospitality. With The (w)Hole I learned trust and the naked emancipation of one’s desire as a nurturing power. With The Connector I learned the deep confidence and the grounding of strength without ego, mutuality without…

SCREEN ZOMBIE again only 19 hours after departure

SILVA SAVAGE: I very much enjoyed the 48 hours of exploration and experimentation. I enjoyed the encounters, the dialogues, the chanting, the tableaus, the food, the classes and my own feathery bubble of cutting and slicing and being. I deconstructed a researcher cloak and made a destructor dress. I met a student, a colleague, a spiritual friend and a porcelain spirit. On my way home I sensed strongly and intensely….

Late final blog entry

Final blog entry Rapture shuns remembering – like dreams when waking. Shared joy is not accustomed to explanation, an invention to measure lightness is yet to be discovered. But some dreams do stay with us, and are Blueprints of the Future. The time at the academy is one of them.

Transmission

Transmission I did not have any particular expectations. I tried to be open. But I really did not expect to be moved, touched. But I was. And that was lovely. The very first thing that happened when I walked through the door, was that two hands stretched out to me through a curtain. I put my hands in those two hands and there was a moment of stillness. The hands…

Voice of Gas universal vibes!

15th-17th of september. Voice of Gas as Visiting Artist/Teacher/Researcher. It was a touching experience. A discovering experience. A wakening up experience. Thank you all of you making this possible! Voice of Gas now transformed to a Universal beeing since the end of september and…

An epilogue or beginning

The visiting experience at Sisters Academy was intense and unclear regarding whether it was the beginning of something new, starting on the outside after leaving, or rather a closure of something begun before entering. Either way, it’s clear that something within and without had its closure. Just like metamorphoses always has. /The Magpie
